DISCERNMENT vs DIVINATION

Kingdom Greetings,

With so many emerging prophets coming on to the scene, I thought it befitting to pen this article to lend assistance to those who have a true desire to operate within a pure heart concerning the prophetic. There is a thin line between the kingdom of light and darkness, it's called GRAY. The kingdom of the GRAYS always preach a gospel I call "mixture" The gospel of mixture is so sweet it's hard for the immature to resist and so skilled that even the very elect can be deceived. I pray this article brings true deliverance from the chains of divination and true repentance and conversion to its reader.

Let's begin with divination. I believe the best way to recognize the real is to expose the fake.

Divination is a form of witchcraft. The attempt to foretell the unknown by occult means. (Gen. 43:5, 15; Det. 18:10; 2 Ki. 17:17; Ezek. 13:23) Divination has many components that allow it to operate undetected or even in plain sight. Divination is usually linked to familiar spirits that shares information about people, places and things to the diviner. (Acts 16:16) Diviners always have familiar spirits attached to them (knowingly or unknowingly) to feed them secret information that only God, the familiar and the victim knows to be truth. (1 Sam. 28:8) Diviners utilize their spirit realm knowledge to benefit themselves never the person they are trying to ensnare. A diviner's familiar usually employs the animal kingdom. Familiars can be seen in the spirit and or natural form of cats, birds, dogs, snakes, frogs and or spiders are very popular.

Lets take a look at Acts 16:16-18 to reveal how these two demonic cohorts operate together.

Act 16:16-18

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: v.17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. v.18

And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

The Greek word for divination is pythōn· these demons are the agents that inspire and instigate idolatry (1 Cr. 10:20) The young woman in Act 16:16 was possessed by a demon that was the spiritual gate keeper within that region which belonged to the occult group of the Greek god Apollo. Divination used this young lady to patrol the lands for true people and moves of God in order to warn and protect other demonic activity in the region. Python is the familiar being used and exposed. Python is not an IT but a HE, a male snake spirit. The word HE comes from the Hebrew word hiy meaning the third person, and a Greek word autos meaning of a backward baffling wind. These two meanings together reveals who was in operation and the devices, the backward baffling wind of a third person. Apostle Peter faces this exact spirit and discerns its operation during and encounter with a sorcerer name Simon. (Acts 8:23; Job 20:23-25)

Diviners release their information to lead people to themselves, bringing further bondage and control. (Acts 8:5-23) Diviners usually ensnare people by sharing something personal to hook their victim, for example, names, s.s#, address or a past experience. Diviners thrive off accuracy. Divination is a system of fraud (Ezek. 13:6-7) it will bring individual who are used by its power lucrative employment through demonic means. (Mic. 3:18; Acts 16:16) Diviners release false dreams and they can enter the dream state to defile them. (Jer. 29:8; Jude 8) Diviners are compulsive liars but the word of God tells us God will frustrate the tokens of liars and make diviners mad. (Ezek. 13:9; 21:29; Is. 44:25; Jer. 27:9) Diviners are went ones not sent ones that operate with false gifts of prophesy. (Prov. 25:14; Jer. 29:9) Diviners do not possess discernment themselves. Diviners deal with the dead, they utilize necromancy (doctrines, etc from the dead) as a part of their dark arts. (1 Sam. 28:1-12)

There are a lot of influential leaders who operate in divination today. Divination loves connecting with and following after men and women of God who are truly called, sent and have active prayer lives. Diviners utilize the grace gifts and influence of leaders to infiltrate the true gospel with their gospel of mixture. (Acts 8:13) Notice in Acts 8:15-24 how Simon the sorcerer followed Philp the Evangelist and went through the motions of salvation but never was truly converted. Apostle Peter's gift of discernment revealed the condition of Simon's heart and uncovered the spirit that was in operation. The major difference between a diviner's divination and the gift of discernment is that the Holy Spirit reveals the information which brings deliverance and or leads the hearer to Christ.

Discerning of spirits is a gift of the Holy Spirit which allows one to see and or understand what spirit is in operation and or the source of the information being released. The Holy Spirit by passes accuracy and gets to the root of the tree baring the fruit. (1 Cor. 12:10; Heb. 4:12; 1 Jn. 4:1)

Let's view this gift in operation by reading the flowing passage of scripture.

* Jn 4:15-30

Notice when Jesus, the only true master prophet and chief apostle, spoke with the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well He revealed to her the sins of her life (6 husbands) NOT her bank account routing numbers, etc. (v.15-18) After He released the divinely inspired information she became a believer, went and evangelized an entire city of men and brought them to Jesus. (v. 28-30) The connection here is Christ revealed to the woman personal info about herself, the same thing diviners do, however His words of knowledge brought much different results. Divination never brings repentance to those bound. Diviners only give enough information to woo (charm-seduce) its victims, to keep them following, to take their money and their soul. Diviners bring temporary relief and freedom but never full conversion. (Deut. 13:1-5; 18:20-23; Mic. 3:18)

Notice, Jesus again operates in the gifts of the word of knowledge & wisdom. (1 Cor. 12:8) He calls to a man BY NAME, whom He didn't know, nor ever met, saying, ZACCHEAUS. (v. 1-5) Zaccheaus known around town as a sinner, (v.7) climbs down out the sycamore tree FOLLOWS CHRIST and takes Christ to his house and sups with him. During the meal, Zaccheaus confesses his sins, repents and is converted into a follower of Christ. (v. 8-10) Let's see these 21st Century prophets do that.

Most known prophets today are demonically inspired to only call out names, addresses, bank accounts and s.s#s yet no conversion comes to the sinner. They don't call out sin in order to not offend their victim before they can get what they want out of them. Divination only brings a continuum of following after that said prophet who utilize dramatics, spiritual terminologies and accuracy to seduce and lead people astray only to drop them off into the pits called bondage and broke.

FATHER, I prophesy that everyone that reads this article and hears your heart will come out from among the diviners. I BREAK every spell and chain letter of delusion and bewitchment sent through mail, social media, email, text and inbox. FATHER, order the steps of your sons and daughters back to you. FATHER, surround them and safeguard them with true leaders who are bare your name and your spirit. I CURSE every spirit of witchcraft and spoil their plans to ensnare the believers. I DECLARE the king's decree that will shut down the operations of all covens, physic and palm reading houses. I CRUSH every crystal ball, BURN all tarot cards, SHUT every third eye, UNMASK all impostor and deceiving spirits, EXPOSE every false angel of light, BLOW OUT all fires of the witches cauldrons and candles, SILENCE all seances, CANCEL all assignments of clairvoyance. I CUT all silver cords and lay lines used for astral-projection, I DISCONNECT every diviner and their familiar spirit that is in operation and that has access to the reader's life. FATHER, release greater graces in the areas of discernment, words of knowledge and wisdom upon your people. FATHER, allow us to discern from good and evil, clean and unclean, right and wrong, by giving to us strong revelation that will exercise our senses. FATHER, Let not your people be deceived or mocked in this hour. FATHER, inspire us to rise in boldness and courage to expose those leaders who are false and honor those who are true. FATHER, you said you would not have us ignorant concerning the devils devices, so we thank you for revealing to us the difference between discernment and divination. FATHER, I thank you for hearing me and honoring my request for I ask it all in Jesus name and believe it to be done. Detrick.
